Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a unique location, just off the M6, making it convenient for traveling north and south, with beautiful views. The service was extremely friendly and cooperative, ensuring a pleasant stay. The dining experience was a bit disappointing with limited breakfast options. The rooms, while adequate, lacked comfort and cleanliness in some areas.
The hotel was located in such peaceful surroundings, with a very warm and genuine welcome from the staff. The rooms, although having a tea pot which was appreciated, were not clean on arrival, with holes in the curtains, and the bed wasn't made. The service was friendly and attentive, and the location was good, but there were no eating alternatives nearby. The dining experience was self-service, with all guests sharing the same equipment to select food, which was not ideal. The facilities were limited.
After a lovely dinner, the hotel offers great classical room designs in deep reds and gold. The room had a convenient hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities, which included a appreciated tea pot. The wardrobe was spacious with lots of hangers and storage, but it could use some updating, although renovation work is in progress. Unfortunately, there was an unwelcome morning wake-up call.
